"New neighborhood eatery Mia’s Italian Kitchen, the latest addition to the Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) family of restaurants, is finally ready to serve extra cheesy carbs to local diners. The two-story establishment is scheduled to open for lunch and dinner service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18. Its long menu is packed with meat and cheese options, hot and cold sandwiches, half a dozen pastas made on site, and 12 Sicilian-style, brick-oven pan pizzas available by the slice (starting at $5). ARP partner Dave Nicholas, whose hospitality firm also owns neighboring Vola’s Dockside Grill and Virtue Feed & Grain, tells Eater some of Mia’s recipes are inspired by ones from his Italian grandmother." - Tierney Plumb
