"A Westfield Stratford branch was savaged for poor execution and high prices: the tagliatelle with truffles was judged appalling, with tiny cubes of truffle lost in a salty, swampy sauce; squid-ink mezzalune offered decent pasta but a vaguely fishy filling and an oily, split sauce; a specials dish called ‘Nonna Marina’s Salina Chicken’ arrived with flabby skin, a burnt base, waterlogged couscous and soggy aubergine; an updated tiramisu failed to improve on the classic. Coupled with mournful, disaffected front-of-house service and an £80 food bill (for only a single glass of wine), the overall impression was stale and not worth a return visit." - George Reynolds
