"Opened this week in the former Mamasan House of Poke space, this East Dallas restaurant serves an extensive array of Asian-inspired dishes, including sushi rolls and sashimi, ramen and udon, fried rice, bento boxes, and Korean specialties such as barbecue and bibimbap. Small plates range from kimchi and pork belly–topped fries to beef and shrimp gyoza, miso soup, and a baby octopus salad, and the menu also features Asian-inspired burgers and tacos. The dining room preserves the previous layout with a large angular patio offering table-and-chair and lounge seating; interiors are industrial-chic with warm wood accents and mural art on whitewashed walls. Instagram photos suggest a full bar, though specialty cocktails have not yet been announced. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight." - Alaena Hostetter
