"I noticed STK Steakhouse has opened its first Texas restaurant in Uptown, pitching itself as a new competitor in Dallas’s steakhouse scene with a press-release-backed “vibe dining” approach and an everything-is-bigger-in-Texas message; the popular chain already has locations across the U.S., from Atlanta to New York City (where there are three). The Uptown site is surrounded by other steakhouses near Klyde Warren Park (Perry’s and Del Frisco within walking distance, with Nusr-Et, Capital Grill, Morton’s, and Fearing’s nearby), and it will offer lunch, brunch, and dinner with seating on an outdoor patio and inside plus a private dining option. It is open now." - Courtney E. Smith
