"Chef Peja Krstic has one of the most interesting culinary minds in Dallas. His Lakewood restaurant serves French-Vietnamese fusion, ostensibly, with some dishes that are more obviously one of the other, but even that fusion feels like a limited way to describe the dishes. It also features a heavy Texan influence and features a good amount of seafood from the Northeast. Even the dining room is something between an intimate French bistro (by way of New Orleans) and a homey, family-owned restaurant. It’s Krstic and his particular version of coloring outside the lines more than it’s any one thing." - Courtney E. Smith
