"All three locations of Mi Vida will be getting into the spirit of Día de los Muertos, with ofrendas set up on Thursday and a Mariachi performance at the Wharf from 7 to 9 p.m. Day of the Dead menus will be available from Friday to Sunday, with special events going on at different locations. A special sugar skull painting class ($45) will take place Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the 14th Street location, with a ticket purchase also including two themed cocktails, guacamole, sopes, and tostadas to snack on. On Saturday, The Wharf will be hosting tamales making on the patio from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a face painter on hand from 1 to 4 p.m., traditional dancers from 7 to 10 p.m., and an ongoing best-dressed competition." - Vinciane Ngomsi, Emily Venezky
