"I arrived with no line but a small rush formed behind me once I settled into a bright-blue bar seat; I appreciated being offered a grilled or smashed patty for my “burger Créole,” and I ordered it classic with fries dusted in Creole spice, a hot blend with a hint of curry that wasn’t too salty and allowed me to enjoy fluffy, crunchy fries. The burger was mounded with crunchy pikliz and a matching aioli that burned the back of my throat in the best way, and the sharp cheddar didn’t melt into the sauce like American would but was noticeable in each bite. Worth the wait? Yes — they’re open late and I suspect the line gets much longer then." - Tammie Teclemariam
