"Walking through the Reading Terminal can be overwhelming, and you’ll probably find at least 20 different things sitting on display that you’ll immediately want to order. But at Hershel’s, once you see the huge slabs of corned beef and smell the pastrami behind the counter, there’s no way you’re walking away without a sandwich. That’s a good thing, though, because the Rachel is the best thing on the menu: coleslaw, russian dressing, and swiss cheese are all piled on the meat of your choice—we say pastrami—and grilled to meaty, melty perfection. If you're there for breakfast, go for the pastrami, egg, and cheese. The meat is tender, the eggs are gooey, and the toasty bread holds everything together nicely if you’re taking it on the go." - Alison B. Kessler
