"We weren’t sure if Doom Bar reminds us more of Dracula’s den or Ozzy Osbourne’s, but then we realized those are one and the same (bat chandelier included). The dark, bi-level bar has plenty of space for groups to down pilsners while Slayer blasts in the background (but not so loud you can’t hear your date). Enjoy the Doom Me cocktail (a smooth blend of amaro, rhubarb, and rye), any of the six beers on draft, or the rare herbal whiskeys and rums on the menu. It’s a fun place for wings, fries, and a braised beef sandwich before or after a show at The Franklin Music Hall. Or skip the concert altogether—Doom is just as lively." - Candis R. McLean
