But that's exactly what's happening at Origen, where the food is definitely Oaxacan but presented in a fine dining context. Although there’s an à la carte menu—with options like fish in coconut sauce with peanuts, mushrooms and chepil sofrito, and enmoladas of duck confit—the tasting menu is the best way to experience Origen.
