Tano - Review - Soma - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Thanks to Tano, there’s a near-guarantee of a line at Paper Son in SoMa an hour before doors open. This pop-up bakery makes delicious Asian pastries that aren't available anywhere else in the city. Korean-style salt bread verges on exploding with ube cream, paper-thin choux balloons with hojicha-infused cream, and a salted egg focaccia has a slight kick. Tano is only open Wednesday through Friday, so we suggest putting a recurring morning block on your calendar to improve your odds of scoring a good position in line. (Showing up at least an hour before opening is the best move.) Follow along on Instagram for new menu items and live updates on when items sell out. photo credit: Patrick Wong photo credit: Patrick Wong photo credit: Patrick Wong photo credit: Patrick Wong Pause Unmute" - Patrick Wong
