"La Fondita has been an Amagansett taco counter mainstay for years. In 2019 they added this great sit-down restaurant in the retro metal diner next door. And while La Fondita is still a fine lunch option, Coche has quickly become one of our favorites for a night out in the area. Settle in with something from their extensive tequila list—or zhuzh up a classic margarita with fruit cordials or fresh purees—then order some ceviche. You’ll want the rotisserie chicken or glazed duck to fold into their homemade tortillas, plus some wood-charred sweet potatoes drizzled in chile honey.
