"It’s Christmas all year long at Lala’s Little Nugget, an old-school dive bar in Crestview that’s been continuously dressed up for the holidays since the 1970s. There’s a countdown on the wall keeping track of how many days are left—with the bar growing increasingly busy as that number gets closer to zero—but even in triple-digit territory, it’s one of the most festive places in Austin. It’s gotten a little bit fancier over the years, but this is still one of the few places in town where you can get a Lone Star tallboy for $3 during Happy Hour.
