"Henk’s has been around for over 50 years, owned and operated by the sons and daughter of its Dutch immigrant founder. They do great Bavarian pastries and German sausages (a rarity in Dallas) and Henk’s daughter, Hanneke, is one of the best waiters in the city—she’ll let you know if the soup of the day is worth getting. There’s no better brunch option on Sundays for beer drinkers, as the cafe has taps from mostly European breweries to pair with schnitzel or sausages." - Lee Escobedo
