Allez Café

@infatuation

"Allez Cafe only has a handful of things on the short food menu: pastries and one breakfast sandwich. But everything at this Bucktown spot is excellent. The baked goods are well-made and interesting, like fluffy donuts filled with corn-flavored cream, or an earl gray cruller with candied rose petals. And the breakfast sandwich is a must-order—there’s a unique balance of flavors from bacon, egg, gouda, a hashbrown, plus ramp aioli and a sweet and spicy jalapeño jam. Seats are limited, but if there’s a spot available, grab it—you’ll want to be sitting down to briefly escape reality while eating that sandwich." - sam faye, adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru
