"Perched on the third floor of the Restoration Hardware showroom at the Stanford shopping center, the glass-enclosed restaurant is essentially a giant sunroom that overlooks the majestic Kings Mountain. The indoor scenery is dazzling, too–fountains, trees growing out of the floor, and more chandeliers than a Vegas casino hosting a crystal convention. The menu leans into the opulence with fancified takes on old favorites: the truffle fries are a must, the lobster roll with optional caviar is buttery and decadent, and the crispy artichokes make for a crowd-pleasing starter. The food gets the job done, but the real thrill here is soaking in the glam surroundings and indulging in truly elite people-watching." - Gabi Moskowitz
