"This Mexican counter in Greenwood is normally where you'll find us on a quiet weeknight, eating tacos and drinking goblet-sized frozen margaritas on a loop in the cerulean-painted backroom. That's in part thanks to a friendly staff, and also thanks to fried-to-order chips, starchy pintos, and pliable tortillas filled with a genius combination of melty pork belly cubes, carnitas, and crackly chicharron crumbled on top like pork-based graham cracker crumbs. But don't leave Abuelita’s Kitchen’s without a deep-fried empanada shoved with moist chicken tinga and just enough gooey cheese to add some welcome fat. The massive parcel tastes great on its own, and even better doused in crema, cilantro-freckled guacamole, and their zippy zucchini salsa from the complimentary salsa bar." - Aimee Rizzo
