"Saxophone solos sound better on vinyl, especially when layered over a soothing EDM beat. Get your fill at Mr. Melo, a Williamsburg listening bar that hosts guest DJs Wednesday through Saturday. Lit by tiny amber spotlights, the room is lined with a few serious-looking speakers and a row of tables where folks on dates chat over the sounds of jazz pianist Gap Mangione. It seems like most people here just do drinks, although you can try some Greek-inspired bites, like a crispy eggplant sandwich or a basket of fries topped with roughly one cubic meter of tzatziki. The latter pairs well with the feta brine martini, which tastes like if the ocean were cheesy. photo credit: Nikolas Vanegas" - Bryan Kim
