"Solana is less a restaurant and more a glorified observatory in the middle of Wicker Park with an incredible city view. And that’s what it should mainly be used for, preferably with a beer or a frozen piña colada, while dipping your feet in their public, but humorously small, pool. Ignore the carne asada and al pastor tacos on the menu—there’s no need to subject yourself to dry meat and dry tortillas. Unlike some downtown rooftops with views obstructed by neighboring skyscrapers, this spot on the sixth floor of the Robey Hotel is wide open for prime skyline ogling." - John Ringor
