"Panificio Marè in Prati has so many good-looking pizzas, we’re convinced that one of Michelangelo’s distant relatives is working in the kitchen. Loaves of freshly made bread line the back shelves, while their desserts like jam-filled crostata and slabs of al taglio sit front and center. Their pizza rossa is super crispy, with rich, oily tomato on top that’s the ideal balance of sweet and tangy. They also have a garlicky, parsley-packed pizza marinara and cheesy, saucy, eggplant parm pizza that’s worth trying if they have it. Bring as many people as possible to help you sample everything." - Annie Replogle
