"Meet the IPA king of Nashville: Bearded Iris Brewing. Named after Tennessee’s state flower, Bearded Iris serves up heavenly hops from their original spot in Germantown and their much cozier location in West Nashville. Homestyle, their fruity and aromatic flagship, is arguably the best draft IPA in the city and tastes great with a comforting bowl of ramen, courtesy of their in-house partnership with Black Dynasty. Their Sylvan Supply spot also has an impressive small-batch beer program, where they rotate experimental and limited brews every couple of weeks and serve them directly from the small tanks stacked behind the bar. We love the super herbal, wet-hopped DIPA and the Dead Is Better, a Bushwacker-inspired imperial stout made with cacao nibs, coconut, hazelnut, and coffee." - Adam Sloan
