"Sim Sim Cafe is meant for sharing. The Uzbek and Turkish mains are more like mounds, and the appetizers are mostly $6, so ordering all of them makes financial and delicious sense. To start, get the haydari and hummus, which comes with a soft, sesame seed-coated bread that’s easy to mindlessly eat like popcorn. But save room for the wide pile of pilav topped with tender lamb chunks and bits of carrot, raisins, and chickpeas. They also make a soupy bowl of manti that comes with a side of sour cream.
