Open until 2pm, this Pasadena spot’s four-burrito menu features eye-catching fillings like fatty pork belly chile verde, potato pavé so crispy we initially thought they were bacon, and lots of velvety soft scrambled eggs so you’ll never end up with a mouthful of plain tortilla. The only unusual aspect of the experience is its location inside the lobby of the four-star Pasadena Hotel—an interesting choice for a grab-and-go counter but a handy place if you need somewhere to sit. The hotel’s quiet courtyard is open to BBAD customers, so you can enjoy a hefty burrito and latte with just your thoughts.
