"The Quoin is a hotel in a historic bank, with a cozy cocktail bar in the basement and an airy, modern restaurant on the main floor. It’s classic New American, meaning it serves some combination of seasonal vegetables, pastas made in-house, and mostly European-leaning entrees that were kissed by a wood fire grill. They serve lunch and dinner all week, plus brunch on the weekend, but they’re busiest at dinner, when people pack it in to eat autumn salads with apple and endive, crispy octopus with chickpea and celery, and artichoke lasagna. It’s a great spot for a birthday dinner or date night, especially if you want to eat some pasta." - Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé
