Machi Sushi - Review - South Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Machi is an all-you-can-eat sushi and boba tea restaurant at the bottom of a fancy-ish Best Western, and if that sounds confusing, just wait until you see the giant Transformer statue guarding the door. It’s a strange place, but the food is surprisingly good for a restaurant that allows you to order “up to 20 pieces of nigiri at a time.” There’s a pretty long menu of soups, salads, appetizers, and rolls, and the food comes out almost as fast as you can order it. The sushi isn’t going to compete with any of Austin’s heavy hitters, but this is a volume game. And if you want to test out that “20 piece” rule, you’ll have to show up at lunch, since nigiri isn’t offered at dinner. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary" - Nicolai McCrary
