"It’s not the biggest jazz night in town, but squeezing close to inebriated strangers is what makes The Corner so great. And this place’s longstanding Tuesday jazz night is still one of our favorite times to visit the classic Downtown cocktail bar (that makes a very solid hot dog, by the way). The jazz starts around 10pm and happens inside the bar, wedged into the corner. Come early-ish if you want a table. If you don’t care if you sit or stand, come any time before 1am, when the music ends and the late-night crowd takes over. " - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Habibi Miami

Restaurant · Overtown

"Habibi is a waterfront restaurant, bar, and lounge set in the 1960s-70s post-colonial Morocco - a time when class, glamour, and openness to the new world flourished. A guest’s dining experience at Habibi begins as dinner and a show and then gradually evolves into a vibrant club-lounge environment. The venue’s Arabic influences come into full swing as belly dancers, henna artists, and drummers co-mingle with patrons throughout the night. Our menu fuses global influences from throughout the Mediterranean, Middle East, France, and Asia. Our shared plates menu is served tapas-style for a full-service dining experience. Our bar program features hand-crafted signature cocktails as well as a curated wine list."
