"Frozen pizza should no longer define the college years, especially when there are places like Atwoods, which comes through with quick, filling, affordable pies that taste flavorful and fresh. This small pizzeria and pasta stop is glaringly void of any glitz once associated with the 5th Street Biltmore building in which it sits. Instead, a few murals with subtle nods to pop culture, Georgia Tech flags, and giant bags of Caputo 00 flour accessorize the speedy, counter service operation. No white glove service necessary to hand over delicious hand-breaded mozzarella sticks. Instead, just listen out for your name over the easy rock tunes, then pick up your cheese sticks along with a solid mushroom pizza, which comes topped with fresh mozzarella and a sweet truffle balsamic drizzle." - demarco williams, juli horsford, nina reeder

"It’s good to know places like Atwoods when you want a quick meal but crave something fresher and better than chain pizza takeout. This small pizzeria and pasta stop is glaringly void of any glitz once associated with the 5th Street Biltmore building in which it sits. Instead, a few murals with subtle nods to pop culture, Georgia Tech flags, a couple of small TVs, and giant bags of Caputo 00 flour accessorize the space. But where scene is lacking, a speedy, counter service operation comes through for the benefit of hungry Tech students and Midtown workers. Just listen out for your names over the easy rock tunes, so you can pick up your delicious hand-breaded mozzarella sticks and solid mushroom pizza. photo credit: Sarah Newman" - Nina Reeder

I have zero complaints about this place! It's a solid spot to grab some really good pizza. The portion size was perfect, and I genuinely enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients. The pizza wasn’t exactly mind-blowing or life-changing, but if you're looking for a cozy place with quality food and a relaxed atmosphere, this is it. What stood out to me was the use of fresh, flavorful toppings paired with a great selection of beer. It’s clear they care about what they’re serving. The service was also attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. While it might not be a destination for a "wow" factor, it’s definitely a reliable go-to for a casual meal. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stop by for another round!

If we lived here we would eat here at least once a week! Best pizza ever!! No exaggeration. Quality of food is worth the visit. Just GO .. it’s worth it. Indulge in a culinary delight at the finest pizza haven! Each slice is a symphony of flavors, crafted with premium ingredients that elevate every bite. From the perfect crust to the exquisite toppings, every aspect is a testament to culinary mastery. Note to Owner: please build one in or near Savannah Ga!

Went here to pick up some pizzas tonight! Atmosphere was super cute, can’t speak on service since we didn’t dine in. We got the Marg and Chicken Coop Deville pizzas and they were delicious! My only critique is that the dough was a little chewy and crust was a little burnt but that might just be their style. The cost of two medium pizzas is about $30, and they are a bit smaller than we thought but it was still plenty enough for two. Overall, I was a fan and definitely plan on coming back!

Absolutely delicious pizza, one of the best in Atlanta! Many options ranging from hot honey pepperoni (my favorite) to mushroom. Margherita most recently was one I tried and it was simply amazing. The cheese and sauce were fresh, and the crust had an amazing crunch telling you it was definitely made in a pizza/brick oven. Highly highly recommend!

My standard “Sho Me Your Roni” was very good. My wife’s gluten-free was beautiful looking, but almost completely raw dough. The kid at the register was new and doesn’t seem to have been trained very much at all (not his fault). The African American young man definitely knew what he was doing and was super nice.

This was a stop on our Food Tour. The pizza was very good! I've never had honey on a pizza before, but it added flavor and made for a unique pizza.

Quality personal pizzas for a reasonable price. The BBQ Chicken Coop Deville was our definite winner.
