"No one can agree on what the Japanese musical genre of “City Pop” means anymore, so today’s encyclopedic music fans (and TikTok-ers) have pretty much settled on “vibes.” In the '70s, it was defined as music for city people by city people—and you’re a city person, so go check out the City Pop Sake Party & Night Market in Greenpoint this Thursday. Your $15 ticket will include a sake tasting glass and starter pack of drink tickets. Food from Rule of Thirds is also available for purchase. The market will host a selection of vendors curated by Deco Boko, and of course, throwback City Pop tunes from DJ Kevin Yoo all night. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
