"This Syrian falafel shop in the 10th arrondissement may not have the cult following of some others in the French capital, but if you ask us, their sandwiches are even more deserving of lines out the door. (Luckily, they're still low-profile enough that you can usually saunter right in.) The must-order is the Extra Falafel. A thin flatbread is spread with creamy hummus and eggplant that’s been slow-cooked until it’s so tender it’s nearly a purée. The falafel itself is always fresh and generously studded with sesame seeds, while the pink pickled turnips balance all that richness with just the right tang. There are a few locations in the neighborhood, but our favorite is the "traiteur," which has both to-go options and a few seats for on-site dining." - Emily Monaco
