"For anyone who lives in upscale Lomas de Chapultepec, Issi is a welcome addition to an area that lacks many restaurants. For everyone else, it’s a cute and “easy” place to stop in for date night, or dinner that won’t cost an arm and a leg compared to other places that are this swanky. This experience is worth it. You’ll find comfort American food, a bit fussed up, like their can’t-miss version of fish and chips: Spanish sea bass in a bowl full of creamy fish stock and topped with crispy-thin potatoes. Don’t pass on the “BLT, Pero No”—spicy shredded chicken, caramelized onions, grana padano, sprouted beans instead of lettuce, and, of course, bacon and tomato. For drinks, go Negroni Sbagliato, a lighter take that swaps gin for prosecco." - Guillaume Guevara
