"This second location of Rangoon (the other being in Crown Heights) is a solid option if you’re around Chelsea and want Burmese food. It’s like a lot of casual neighborhood spots you head to on a weekday night when you realize you don’t have anything edible in your fridge. Most of the seating is in the long, narrow main dining room with fresh flowers on every table, and there’s a semi-private area downstairs that’s ideal for big groups. Dishes like crispy potatoes covered in tamarind split pea sauce and a tomato curry with seafood and balachaung are perfectly fine, but they’re not memorable. However, the rice noodles with chunks of fatty pork in a pungent rich broth is the one dish you’ll still be thinking about weeks from now." - Kenny Yang
