"Here’s the thing about the original location of Barney’s Beanery—it’s a good sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, the bar food is solid, and unlike many other places to watch a game in this town, there’s some history inside. Under no circumstance, though, does that mean anyone should be waiting an hour to get inside. Thanks to Taylor Swift’s visit in April 2024 (among other celebrity sightings), this once-reliable hangout has been claimed by people who show up to bars after 10pm with a ring light.
