"What happens when one of Maui’s best chefs builds out the menu at the Koholā Brewery taproom at Wailea Village? You get upscale takes on bar food. Think the fanciest pretzel you’ve ever had, glazed with a pilsner beer syrup, dotted with beer cheese, and dusted with aku bottarga, and a sandwich stuffed with shredded braised short rib and topped with fried onions (consider it Funyuns meet French dip). And, yes, while we love convenience store musubi in Hawai‘i, don’t miss one of their version.
