"This historic restaurant is deep in the sestieri of San Polo, just over the Ponte delle Tette. There are only about 10 tables inside, and the terrazzo-floored room is covered with a collection of mirrors, paintings, and retired pieces of gondolas. In other words, it’s a pretty classic and gorgeous place to have dinner. Start with a plate of fried seafood, and follow suit with your primi or secondi with more seafood—either pastas or a whole grilled fish. All the vegetables here come from the Osti in Orto, a collective garden on the island of Sant’Erasmo, so your carbon footprint is actually more than that plate of crispy zucchini.
