Comal - Review - Chinatown - New York - The Infatuation

"Comal is in the old Gem Wine space on the Lower East Side (but not the old, old Gem Wine space now occupied by Ha’s Snack Bar). It’s a small plates restaurant from a chef who used to work at Jupiter, grew up in Mexico and spent time in London, so you’ll see everything from surf clams with cascabel chiles to sweetbreads with cabbage and pineapple on the menu. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Will Hartman
