Go to Pokérrito Ya for a quick, satisfying lunch in the CID - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"We’re not yet convinced poke needs to be part of Seattle’s burrito industrial complex, but this CID spot makes a decent case. The takeout counter serves a couple of satisfying variations on seafood-forward wraps, stuffing them with the likes of light-as-snowflakes imitation crabmeat, tangy marinated tuna, and spicy salmon. Their sides—like the dry chicken karaage—are afterthoughts, and the bowl specials aren't quite special, but this place still works well for a casual, quick lunch that will get you through the afternoon. Food Rundown Aloha Sunset Sushi Burrito The tuna inside here is soaked in a tasty soy sauce that cuts down on the fishiness, and we like how the pineapple gives pops of sweetness and the snappy cucumbers provide texture. photo credit: Gabe Guarente California Sunshine Sushi Burrito The rice-to-seafood ratio here is such that light, tasty shavings of crab dominate the wrap—as they should. Waikiki Wave Bowl This salmon bowl is a bit boring, and it’s dressed in too much mayo. Stick to the burritos and you’ll be better off. Takoyaki While we don’t mind the sweet-savory sauce drizzled on top, the puffy balls themselves need to be creamier. photo credit: Gabe Guarente Chicken Karaage An air fryer behind the counter attempts to crisp these up, but fails. Just skip ‘em." - Gabe Guarente
