"Lady M, the NYC bakery famous for its 20-layer mille crêpes, has partnered with fine crystal company Baccarat to open a fancy food truck on the Embarcadero. When it first opened, you could place your order while standing under huge crystal Baccarat chandeliers—now, the truck is crystal-less and more demure with just a large awning and Renaissance-style murals wrapped all around it. Nevertheless, you’ll still find five different flavors of spongy mille crêpes, glued together with a silky cream. The signature is the best—it’s simple with just-sweet-enough cream and a caramelized top. But if you see the tiramisu, get that, too, and make sure to ask if there are any off-menu specials. A few chairs and tables are sometimes set up in front of the truck, but the nearby benches on the waterfront are a perfect back-up." - Patrick Wong
