Out The Door Review - Pacific Heights - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Too many restaurants in San Francisco have all the energy of intermission at a Josh Groban concert. OTD is a different story. It feels kind of like walking into the opening “Out to Dinner” montage of The Hills meets The City, by which we mean there are attractive people in the room who look like they’re having a great time. But we’re in San Francisco, so everyone’s still wearing flats and wrapping up dinner by 9:45 at the latest. The upscale Vietnamese food is consistent, and all the dishes are made for sharing – great for a Marina Girl birthday or a date (snag the bar seats overlooking the kitchen if you can). Out The Door is an offshoot of The Slanted Door, and like its older sibling, the menu could use a little freshening up. But it’s still a fun time. More fun than Josh Groban, if you can believe it." - Taylor Abrams
