"Modern Bread & Bagel makes gluten-free treats, but you don’t have to be dough-intolerant to like this place. Originally from New York, Modern opened a Woodland Hills location last year before opening their latest shop in Santa Monica. We’re into their pastrami-crusted lox sandwiches with chive smear, as well as a moist cinnamon bun topped with cream cheese frosting.
