"La Cava Jufré is on a calm corner in Villa Crespo, away from the more touristy parts of the city. Cava means wine cellar, and you really will feel like you’re in a basement—in a good way—with dim lighting, antique furniture, and tables gathered close together. This place has been around since 2005, and Lito, the owner, is at the center of the action, dishing out pitch-perfect wine recommendations for any mood or moment. On the food menu, you’ll find cheese plates, tasty empanadas (don't skip the mushroom and leek), and classic desserts like flan, tiramisu, and queso y dulce." - annie bacher
