"For fans of tinned fish, vermut, and three-sip glasses of beer, Morro Fi is your happy place. Credited with leading Barcelona’s vermut renaissance, this spot didn’t just reinvent the wheel—they gave it a refresh, sourcing the highest-quality products from across Spain and serving them simply in a lively, packed setting. This snacking den in Eixample (there are a few more outposts in town) is tiny, maybe 15 people can squeeze in at a time, but that doesn’t stop the crowd from gravitating toward the back to order before spilling onto the terrace and into the plaza. Save room for their thick-cut potato chips topped with chilled tinned mussels, boquerones, olives, guindilla peppers, and a paprika-infused vinegar sauce—a salty, briny companion for a bittersweet glass of vermut." - david neimanis
