"Chambers in Tribeca is a place to rub elbows with sommeliers from all over the city and people who regularly make seven-figure deals—all while admiring magnum bottles of green and yellow Chartreuse on the shelf. At this wine bar, a meal starts with She Wolf sourdough, but could go in any seasonal direction after that: squid rings with olives and sunchokes, or a roast chicken with spinach and sherry. Everything will taste good, but you’re really here for the wine list, especially the roughly 20 by-the-glass options. Those glasses start at $10 draft pours, and go all the way up to a $49 glass of 12-year-old savagnin. Whether you’re a wine nerd or not, it’s a nice place to spend an easy evening after work—especially at the marble bar. But an enthusiasm for talking varietals and terroir will help you appreciate this place more." - Will Hartman
