"Even though the door is unmarked, this low-key cocktail bar in The Heights isn't really hidden—there's an exterior window and the staff of the connected sushi restaurant, Hando, usually suggests popping over while you're waiting for a table. But it’s still fun to ask what’s going on inside. All of Hando's house cocktails, like The Audacity with mezcal and spicy orgeat, and some of their food is available at Kanpai. You can also order a few specialty drinks mixed with pandan and ube that are exclusive to the bar.
