"La Casa del Mofongo is a casual Dominican restaurant serving traditional mofongo on less-than-traditional plates. Dominican-style pour-over coffee comes in a tiny little house, and sangría arrives in a miniature watering can. The whimsical plating might lead some to believe that the food here isn’t the real deal, but that’s a diversion tactic to keep away people with fragile egos. This is the place to be if you’re in the mood for mofongo, masitas del puerco, and a pastelon empanada.
