Carmel Fitzrovia Review - Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"Carmel is a place to feel hot and eat excellent carbs. Unlike its other rom-com-ready, family-friendly Queen’s Park location, the polished Fitzrovia restaurant is tailor-made for boozy business lunches and boisterous dinners when parents have the night off. Lipstick smudges are left on Negroni glasses and the sprawling, low-lit space buzzes with thumping music and raised voices. The eastern Mediterranean food is great, and we would come just for the bread: the Jerusalem bagel with creamy labneh, charred challah with smooth butterbean hummus, the list of sourdough flatbreads topped with cod’s roe, crab, and more.
