"Coral Gables has almost as many fancy Italian restaurants as it does Italian street names. And if tableside service is your thing, Portosole is worth checking out. So many dishes here are served on carts that there are traffic jams between tables draped in freshly ironed white linen. Steaming cacio e pepe is twirled in a parmesan wheel to your left, while branzino is deboned to your right, and you can feel the flames on your neck as a server flambees the berries for someone’s panna cotta. Food is on the pricier side. That branzino is $140, and a big plate of figliata mozzarella is $64. So order things you can share. The branzino is supposed to be for two but easily feeds three, and the figliata can be split between four. Plus, there are plenty of freebies throughout dinner like big bread baskets, olives with sliced meats, and a plate of cookies after dessert." - Virginia Otazo
