"Tacolina is the latest tenant of a Silver Lake space with a higher turnover rate than sales associates at Forever 21. Regardless of whatever middling, vaguely Mexican restaurant inhabits this potentially cursed spot on Sunset though (anyone remember Cowboys & Turbans?), the enormous tropical patio hidden in the back remains somewhere we want to spend an evening drinking fruity cocktails under string lights and enough palm trees to fill a nursery. Tacolina's generic Baja-inspired menu is inoffensive but not worth planning a meal around, so we'd prioritize grabbing a table in the courtyard for a few snacks and drinks. There’s plenty of space for all the friends you can wrangle, plus mezcal and a bumping reggaeton playlist to keep them entertained." - brant cox, arden shore, sylvio martins, cathy park
