Sundaes and Cones Review - East Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Yes, you can get both sundaes and cones at this East Village spot, but you’ve come here for a sundae. There’s probably better ice cream in the city, but nowhere else will deciding between the sundae (two scoops, two toppings) and the banana boat (three scoops, three toppings) transport you so instantly to the tough decisions of childhood. Once you’ve chosen, the real work starts: there are 28 different toppings, and flavors ranging from chocolate peanut butter to Thai iced tea. If you order the banana boat, the person behind the counter will halve the banana, lay it on the sundae, and then carefully remove the peel. It’s mesmerizing. This is a large space, but there isn’t a lot of seating, so head to a table outside with your sundae." - Willa Moore
