Mi Sombrero - Review - Garden Oaks - Houston - The Infatuation

"Mi Sombrero represents a Houston neighborhood standard: the strip center Tex-Mex restaurant. A dime a dozen across the Houston suburbs, a place like Mi Sombrero is generally patronized only by folks who live nearby, who have likely been eating there for years, and have a regular order the employees know by heart. It’s convenient, tasty, and filled with various foods smothered in hot cheese and actually spicy salsa. Not much appears to have changed about Mi Sombrero since it opened in 1978, and we’re kind of into that. The rough-around-the-edges interior is part of the charm, as are the rock-bottom prices.
