"Open Seas runs a trio of seaside ventanitas in Crandon Park. One does ceviche, another does Mexican, and this one does big paellas. The minimum paella order is for two people, which comes to about $60 for the seafood paella. This sounds expensive—and it is—but they’re actually big enough to share with four and come with a generous amount of clams, shrimp, and mussels. You won’t get any sort of the socarrat we look forward to from a paella, but it’s hard to be upset when you have dancing palm trees and a pristine ocean view in front of you. One of their sandwiches is a safer (and cheaper) bet. Pair it with a frozen lemonade that hits the spot after splashing around in saltwater." - Mariana Trabanino
